From Fox News: Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is calling for “radically” altering the U.S. Supreme Court by increasing the number of justices on the bench, and more.

“We need to radically reform the broken Supreme Court,” the congresswoman declared in social media posts, calling for “expanding the number of Justices,” “a binding, enforceable code of ethics,” and “imposing term limits.”

“SCOTUS reform is on the ballot in November,” the lawmaker asserted.

While there are currently nine slots on the high court, some lawmakers advocate for increasing the number of seats, a proposal referred to by critics as court packing.

Omar, who took office in 2019 and is currently seeking re-election, has been an outspoken advocate of the policy.

Omar, who came to the US as a Somalian refugee, posted a video calling for the U.S. Supreme Court to be transformed.

“We need to reform this program Court,” she declares in the video.

She also wildly claims in the video, “They won’t stop with overturning Roe v. Wade… they are coming for the right to birth control, they are coming for marriage equality.”

“We cannot wait for this extremist, radical, religious-right Court to strip our rights away one by one. It is time we have a Supreme Court that actually reflects the will of the American people,” Omar brazenly declared.

Chinese American Xi Van Fleet fired back against Omar, warning, “We need to get radical Communist Democrats out of office!!”
