From Fox News: Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign released a new digital advertisement that targets Black men’s love lives, insinuating that they will be rejected by women if they don’t have a plan to vote.

The ads depict a dating game in which a Black man approaches a group of women who are holding balloons. They begin to ask him questions about himself, including how much he makes, how tall he is and whether he works out.

The man’s answers get seemingly positive responses from the women, until one asks him if he has a plan to vote in November.

“Nah, not my thing,” the man says, prompting all the women in the scene to pop their balloons.

Brian McBride, Deputy Director of Creative Strategy for the Harris campaign, shared the ad on X, and admitted in the comments that he helped created it.

Another ad shows a Black woman ditching her date when she realizes he hasn’t voted.

Journalist Collin Rugg released a video of both the ads combined into one.  Rugg explains:

JUST IN: Kamala Harris releases dating ad on META telling young men that women will get up and leave during dates if they don’t vote for her.

Lmao. The desperation is real. The ad was released alongside a “balloon popping” ad where women turn down a young man for not voting.

The ads are being shown to users on Instagram and Snapchat near college campuses.

Christina Pushaw, a spokesperson for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, wrote, “To whom is this ad supposed to appeal? Men who want women they don’t even know, to tell them what to do? Pretty sure they’re already voting for Harris.”
