Breitbart has pointed out that the “killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar on Thursday came days after President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris threatened Israel with an arms embargo if it did not improve conditions in Gaza and cut back its attacks.”

On Tuesday, a letter was leaked to the public, which had been sent to Israeli officials on Sunday by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

The letter threatened to withhold weapons from Israel, claiming, without evidence, that Israel is blocking aid to Gaza, and that humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza have plummeted, Breitbart had reported.

The letter demanded an end to the current Israeli offensive operations in Gaza, and gave Israel 30 days to comply with the demands.

Sinwar was killed in Rafah, the very city where Biden and Harris had demanded Israel stay out of.

Breitbart further wrote:

According to social media, Sinwar’s body was not merely found in Gaza, but near the Philadelphi Corridor — the road near the Gaza-Egypt border, which the Biden-Harris administration wanted Israel to leave behind in a ceasefire deal. Reports have speculated that Sinwar, who was found with cash and passports, was trying to flee Gaza to Egypt.

Israel appears to have paid no heed to the letter, and instead, has now taken out the top Hamas leader, right in an area where the U.S. had urged them not to go.

Now the Biden administration is touting the elimination of Sinwar and bragging about the assistance they provided for Israel.

“Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is dead. This is a good day for Israel, for the United States, and for the world,” Joe Biden said on social media, releasing a copy of his full statement.

The statement released by the White House on behalf of Biden, states: “As the leader of the terrorist group Hamas, Sinwar was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Israelis, Palestinians, Americans, and citizens from over 30 countries. He was the mastermind of the October 7th massacres, rapes, and kidnappings. It was on his orders that Hamas terrorists invaded Israel to intentionally – and with unspeakable savagery – kill and massacre civilians, a Holocaust survivor, children in front of their parents, and parents in front of their children.”

In the statement, Biden appears to take credit for the elimination of Sinwar. Below is an excerpt [emphasis added]:

Shortly after the October 7 massacres, I directed Special Operations personnel and our intelligence professionals to work side-by-side with their Israeli counterparts to help locate and track Sinwar and other Hamas leaders hiding in Gaza.

With our intelligence help, the IDF relentlessly pursued Hamas’s leaders, flushing them out of their hiding places and forcing them onto the run.

Kamala Harris also released a statement on the death of Sinwar, writing, “Today, Israel confirmed that Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, is dead and justice has been served, and the United States, Israel, and the entire world are better off as a result.”

Harris then used the moment to call for the war to end, writing, “This moment gives us an opportunity to finally end the war in Gaza, and it must end such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom, and self-determination. And it is time for the day after to begin without Hamas in power.”

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had slammed the Biden-Harris administration over their threat to Israel.

“The Biden-Harris Administration seems to have forgotten: Hamas started this war, continues to hold hostages, and is responsible for the destruction in Gaza. This Administration should be threatening Hamas—not Israel,” Pompeo wrote.

Nikki Haley, former Ambassador to the United Nations, also slammed the letter to Israel.

“The problem isn’t aid getting in to Gaza. The problem is Hamas stealing it from the people to fuel their terror as soon as it enters. Biden and Harris need to get out of the way and let Israel make decisions for Israel, period,” Haley declared.
