During a rally in Aurora, Colorado on Friday, former President Donald Trump unveiled his plan to rid America of the dangerous transnational Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua.
Trump’s program is expected to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to target and dismantle “every illegal migrant criminal network operating on American soil.”
If anyone doubts that it can be done, one only needs to look to El Salvador, where President Nayib Bukele has built a high-security “mega prison” and has filled it with thousands of MS-13 gang members, who will reportedly never see the light of day again.
Once considered the “murder capital of the world,” El Salvador is now described as one of the safest places to live.
Over the past two years, Bukele has been sharing video footage as more and more violent gang members are brought to his new “mega prison,” called the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT), which has a 40,000-person capacity.
In June, he announced, “This morning, we transferred more than 2,000 gang members from the Izalco, Ciudad Barrios and San Vicente prisons to the CECOT. There they will pay for the crimes committed against our people; cut off from the outside world, without the possibility of leaving, or of ordering crimes from prison 🇸🇻.”

In July, American independent journalist Nick Shirley shared a stunning video with exclusive footage from INSIDE the CECOT mega prison. Shirley traveled to El Salvador and was allowed to enter and tour the facility. His 11-minute video is a MUST-WATCH.
Shirley wrote:
INSIDE CECOT (full video):
I entered into El Salvadors mega prison know as The Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), it is home to some of the most dangerous gangs and gangsters in the world. El Salvador was once controlled by these gangs and known as the most dangerous country in the world, it is now the safest country in the western hemisphere thanks to @nayibbukele and his administration for their extreme crackdown on these gangs.Inside CECOT it is capable of holding over 40,000 inmates and is literally impossible to escape, with walls over 9 meters and an additional 3 meters of electrical fencing and 27 watch towers El Salvador is making sure these prisoners never see the outside world again.
In this video I will walk you through CECOT and show you the processes and extreme security measures El Salvador is taking to ensure it stays the safest country in the western hemisphere. As well I will go face to face with these prisoners showing what life is like for a prisoner inside CECOT.

El Salvador President Nayib Bukele was re-elected by a massive landslide in February, receiving around 90% of the vote.
In a recent discussion, Bukele said, “I’m a person of faith. I believe that God can forgive us all. I know that if a criminal repents and asks for forgiveness, he can go to heaven just like any other sinner. But that is up to God. Here on earth, that criminal must be in prison. Because we already trusted him to be on the streets and he decapitated 3 people.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) announced Friday, “El Salvador has transformed from the murder capital of the world into an inspirational model for the West! President @NayibBukele has driven out the globalists, balanced the nation’s budget, and secured its borders. Imagine if we could have that here in the United States.”
