Multiple tornados have formed across Florida Wednesday afternoon, as Hurricane Milton is now only hours away from making landfall on the state’s west coast.
DMLNewsApp founder Dennis Michael Lynch lives on the east coast of Florida, but is in the storm’s path. He said they are getting a tornado warning about every 5 minutes.
“It’s going to be a long 24 hours,” he said.
He shared a video Wednesday afternoon of a massive tornado seen behind his home.

In another post, DML shared a photo of the tornado and wrote, “Massive tornado just outside my backyard on other side of river. Never seen anything like it.”

MASSIVE TORNADO hitting Lakewood Park Florida right now. One of the biggest we’ve seen in Florida today and knocking out power to the entire area. Debris is being launched far in the air and heading towards Vero Beach. Lives are in immediate danger ⚠️

DML posted an update later Wednesday evening, with a photo of an apartment complex left in ruins.
“This is the pre-game show. Down the block from me,” he wrote.
“What we’ve experienced in Vero Beach with countless tornados is just the pregame. The storm hasn’t even hit yet. Cars flipped. Houses shredded. Lord help Florida,” he added.
At 2:00 am Thursday morning, DML posted the following update:
“This hurricane will not end. Started with a massive tornado outside my house, which hit my studio/warehouse in town, and now at 2am we’ve got water and wind that will not stop. Everyone warned the west coast would be hit hard, and I’m sure they did, but the east coast saw it all. Tornados. Flooding. Wind. Can’t wait for this to end.”
UPDATE FROM DML at Thursday noon: “Just toured a part of our town. Tornado wrecked many homes and countless trees. Power lines down. National Guard in the streets assisting with clean up. Residents taking to the streets to clean up. Faces look shocked. But resolve is strong.”
