From the New York Post: Former President Donald Trump will host a major rally at the Big Apple’s iconic Madison Square Garden later this month, The Post has learned.
The event, which will be held at MSG’s legendary arena, is set to take place on Oct. 27, nine days before Election Day, sources said.
A massive turnout is expected for the rally, which will be a first-come, first-serve event.
Trump, 78, drew about 16,000 fans for a raucous rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, last month.
Madison Square Garden, considered the world’s most famous arena, has the capacity to seat as many as 19,500 inside the main arena.
Breitbart quoted Trump as saying in December, “But we’re going to do these other states too, and it will be a heavy move. I may rent Madison Square Garden and that’s the belly of the beast, right?”
Trump told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo in February that he would like to hold a rally at the MSG. He said, “New York has changed a lot in the last two years. People that would have never voted for me because I’m a Republican … I think they’re going to vote for me.”
Eric Daugherty of Florida Voice News also confirmed, “Donald Trump has booked a Madison Square Garden, New York rally for late-October, a source familiar with the planning confirms to me directly.”

CNN’s Kate Sullivan announced, “Trump is expected to hold a campaign rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City later this month, two sources familiar with the matter tell me and @KristenhCNN.”
