A large group of illegal aliens from the Middle East, who are suspected of having ties to terrorism, were just caught Monday morning trying to sneak across the southern border into the United States.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, a “special interest alien” is a non-U.S. person who, based on an analysis of travel patterns, potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests. Often such individuals or groups are employing travel patterns known or evaluated to possibly have a nexus to terrorism. DHS analysis includes an examination of travel patterns, points of origin, and/or travel segments that are tied to current assessments of national and international threat environments.
On Monday, Texas Department of Public Safety Lt. Chris Olivarez announced in a social media post, “This morning, @TxDPS Troopers encountered a group of 230 illegal immigrants in Eagle Pass. Among the group were 27 special-interest immigrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, & India.”

News Nation correspondent Ali Bradley explained, “I asked law enforcement sources why they believe the crossings are picking up again in Texas—They say despite Governor Abbott’s efforts under #OperationLoneStar—Eagle Pass is actually a “path of least resistance” right now because there are no major cartel battles going on in Piedras Negras/Acuña which are the cities just across the U.S./Mexico border.”

According to the latest posted data on the DHS website, there have been 382 illegal aliens caught crossing the southern border who are on the terror watch list during the Biden-Harris administration.

Last month, independent border reporter Anthony Aguero posted a video as he intercepted a large group of illegal aliens who were walking right across the border into the US under cover of darkness.
