The latest Siena College poll reveals that New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s favorability has plummeted, with only 34% of likely voters viewing her positively, compared to 54% who view her negatively. This marks a decline since August and positions her net favorability rating below that of former President Donald Trump.

In fact, there has been mass speculation of the possibility of Trump potentially flipping New York from blue to red for the presidential election. Based on polling numbers that continue to show more favor for him with certain demographics such as Black and Jewish Americans, plus the massive attendance he had at his rally in Long Island last week, the possibility is closer than ever before.

DML also wrote in his newsletter last week on the possibility of Trump winning NY: “With Biden no longer in the race, many “experts” are declaring New York a sure win for Kamala Harris. I beg to differ; I believe Trump has a chance in his home state.”

We want to ask you, the reader: can Trump flip New York to red? Answer in our poll below and comment your thoughts on the likelihood of Trump winning NY.
