Pop music star Billie Eilish, along with her brother and fellow musician Finneas, are the latest celebrities to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 election. On National Voter Registration Day, they told their fans to “vote like your life depends on it.”

“We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy,” the 22-year-old singer said in a video posted on social media on Tuesday, according to a report from The Hill.

“We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms and our future,” said Finneas O’Connell.

“Vote like your life depends on it — because it does,” finished Eilish, with the post reading: “The choice is clear.”

Eilish is known for controversial lyrics, such as her song “Everything I Wanted,” where she fantasizes and dreams of committing suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.

Billie Eilish has over 105 million monthly listeners on Spotify and other streaming services.

A significant portion of her fanbase is in their 20s and teenagers, with a majority of them female listeners.

Billie Eilish endorsed Joe Biden during his 2020 presidential campaign, performing at the virtual Democratic National Convention that year. She later met with Biden at the White House in 2022.
