It’s been nearly two months since the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, and his wife is demanding answers.

Trump was shot in the ear while speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. The would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, who was shooting from the roof of a nearby building, was then shot and killed by a counter sniper.

It was later discovered that law enforcement were aware of Crooks on the roof even before he opened fire.

Former First Lady Melania Trump posted a video on social media Tuesday morning. The video is only 34 seconds long, but Mrs. Trump is sounding the alarm and asking the same question many other conservatives have asked: Is there more to the story we’re not being told?

“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience. Now, the silence around it feels heavy,” she says.

“I can’t help but wonder: Why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech? There is definitely more to this story and we need to uncover the truth,” Mrs. Trump adds.

The video ends with a link to purchase her newly-released book.

In another video released on Sunday, Mrs. Trump highlighted the 2020 election results, and the obvious efforts to silence her husband.

Previously, Melania Trump has rarely posted on social media, and when she does, it is normally not to address political issues.  However, with the release of her new memoir, “Melania,” she is now breaking her silence.
