Since 2016, one of the key attacks Democrats have used against former President Donald Trump is the “Russia collusion hoax,” as they claim Russian president Vladimir Putin was trying to help Trump win the White House.
Now, Putin has just voiced his support for Democrat nominee Kamala Harris.
From Fox News: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday appeared to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race against former President Donald Trump.
According to multiple reports, Putin was questioned during the Eastern Economic Forum he attended in eastern Russia over how he viewed the upcoming U.S. election.
The Russian president, apparently smiling alongside the event’s moderator, said ultimately it was up to the American people to decide but said that as President Biden has backed Harris, “we will do the same, we will support her.”
“She laughs so expressively and infectiously that it means that everything is fine with her,” he added.
“I said that our ‘favorite,’ if I may say so, was the incumbent President Mr. Biden. He was removed from the race, but he recommended that all his supporters support Ms. Harris. So we will do the same, we will support her,” Putin announced.
“She laughs so expressively and infectiously that it means that everything is fine with her. And if everything is fine with her — then Trump has introduced so many restrictions and sanctions against Russia that no president has ever introduced before — and if everything is fine with Ms. Harris, then maybe she will refrain from such actions of this kind,” he continued with a smirk on his face.
“Ultimately, the choice is up to the American people, and we will respect that choice,” he added.

Entrepreneur and investor David Sacks reacted to the news, writing, “All Americans should stand against Putin by rejecting his preferred candidate, the weak and ineffectual Kamala Harris.”
