Armie Hammer, known for his role in “The Lone Ranger,” has had to downsize his lifestyle after moving back to Los Angeles.

In an Instagram video, the 38-year-old actor shared that he could no longer afford the gas for his beloved pickup truck, which he bought in 2017 and had used for road trips and camping.

Despite the sentimental value, Hammer decided to sell the truck at Carmax, acknowledging that the rising cost of gas made it unsustainable. He revealed he has now switched to a smaller, more fuel-efficient hybrid car.

As he prepared to part with his truck, Hammer showed some of the personal items he was clearing out, including a rope, a medicine bottle, and gum.

In a recent video, Armie Hammer, who previously described himself as “broke but happier than ever,” opened up about the profound impact of the sexual abuse allegations against him. He shared that he experienced an “ego death,” along with the collapse of his career and finances, following accusations from multiple women, including claims of cannibalism and abuse, which surfaced in January 2021.

Hammer also confirmed on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast that he received no financial support from his family during this time.

Several women accused Armie Hammer of sharing disturbing sexual fantasies involving cannibalism. The first allegation emerged from the anonymous Instagram account House of Effie, with unverified screenshots allegedly showing Hammer discussing BDSM acts and claiming he was “100% a cannibal.”

His ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze also claimed that Hammer expressed a desire to smoke and eat her ribs, describing the experience as “disturbing.” Additional women came forward with similar stories, and Hammer was even accused of rape, though he denied all allegations. In 2023, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced that Hammer would not face any charges related to these claims.
