The man who sparked a manhunt in Arizona Thursday morning after threatening the life of former President Donald Trump has now been caught, according to Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels.

Dannels first announced on Facebook Thursday morning that his office was searching for Ronald Lee Syvrud, 66, who was wanted on several outstanding warrants, including threatening to kill a U.S. presidential candidate, which was confirmed to be Trump.

On the same day, Trump traveled to Arizona and held a press conference at the border, in the same county where the manhunt was underway.

Dannels updated his Facebook post later Thursday afternoon to say, “This subject has been taken into custody without incident in Cochise County. We appreciate all of the information received and the incredible collaborative efforts with all of our public safety partners.”
