From Fox News: Acting Director Ronald Rowe Jr. got into a heated exchange with Sen. Josh Hawley when the Missouri Republican demanded to know why more Secret Service personnel haven’t been fired.
Hawley appeared incredulous when Rowe indicated that the people who made decisions about the security perimeter at former President Trump’s Pennsylvania rally and others involved with the communications breakdown had not yet lost their jobs.
“What more do you need to investigate?” Hawley demanded.
“I will not rush to judgement. People will be held accountable,” Rowe dodged.
Outraged, Hawley fired back, “Is it not prima fascia that somebody has failed? The former president was shot!”
Rowe said, “Sir, this could have been our Texas School Book Depository! I have lost sleep over that for the last 17 days.”
“Then fire somebody!” Hawley yelled back.

Next, Rowe came under fire by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), who raked him over the coals over reports that the Secret Service had earlier denied requests by the Trump team for additional security.
Rowe dodged, saying the Trump team had not requested additional resources for the Butler event.
But Cruz read a report saying security requests by the Trump team had “repeatedly” been denied over the past two years.
This one got HOT. Watch below:

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) cleared up the rumors that Trump wasn’t hit by a bullet, and got FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate to confirm in no uncertain terms that it was indeed a bullet that struck Trump’s ear.
He temporarily changed the subject, hitting Abbate over a recent settlement reached with two former anti-Trump FBI agents, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
Then Kennedy turned back to Rowe in a fiery grilling.
