From Breitbart: The Hancock, Michigan, Police Department posted a press release Sunday warning about “three different incidents that appeared to be politically motivated,” with the targets being “Trump and Law Enforcement supporters.”

One of the victims is an 80-year-old man who was run down in his yard while putting up a pro-Trump sign.
The man is reportedly still hospitalized in critical condition.
The Hancock Police Department shared the following details in a Facebook post:
On Sunday, July 21, 2024, the Hancock Police Department responded to three different incidents that appeared to be politically motivated. Two of the incidents involved vehicles that were intentionally vandalized.
At approximately 5:45PM, in the 1600 blk of Anthony Street, the same subject driving an ATV (4-wheel) allegedly with intention to do harm drove into the residence yard, running over an 80-year-old male who was posting a political sign in his yard. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and remains in critical condition.
It is believed that the person driving the ATV is involved in all three incidents. Be aware, the subject appeared to target both Trump and Law Enforcement supporters.
The Hancock Police Department is looking for any help from the community in identifying the subject.
Suspect description given is thin build with possible dreadlocks or long hair.

In an update on Tuesday, the Hanock Police Department announced that they had received a call from an individual who said they want to “confess a crime involving an ATV driver within the last 24 hours” and asked for “someone to come pick me up.”
When police arrived at the address, they discovered a deceased male “with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
At the scene they found the four-wheeler used in the attack, along with clothing that matched what the man had worn during the attack.

The individual was driving an ATV and pulled the sign out of the yard. When the victim tried to put it back, the suspect ran him over. The victim has been taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
