Democratic Party chairs from seven key battleground states, including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Georgia, and Arizona, have released a joint letter endorsing President Biden for the upcoming election.
They emphasized that a united front is essential to defeating Donald Trump and ensuring continued progress on Democratic initiatives. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has backed this effort by investing $15 million into campaign operations in these critical states.
This funding aims to open more field offices and bolster staffing, enhancing the ground game needed to secure a Biden victory. The investment will support the 217 existing coordinated campaign offices and over 1,100 staffers already working in these battleground states.
This move comes amid internal party discussions about Biden’s reelection prospects, especially following the shifting dynamics of the race after the attempted assassination of Trump.
