On July 15, 2024, a significant protest took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, coinciding with the Republican National Convention (RNC).

The event, known as the ‘March on the RNC,’ saw a large turnout of demonstrators, with estimates ranging from 1,000 to over 10,000 participants.

The protesters marched through downtown Milwaukee, voicing their opposition to various issues, including the presence of former President Donald Trump, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), and fascist ideologies in the United States.

The march was organized by a coalition of groups and was characterized by chants such as ‘No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!’ and ‘Republicans have got to go!’

The event was largely peaceful, with no major incidents reported, though it caused significant traffic disruptions as protesters blocked streets.

The march aimed to bring attention to their causes within ‘sight and sound’ of the RNC convention.
